Ramats de Foc is a Catalan project, with a pilot test in the Empordà and currently more widespread in the territory

“Herds of Fire” is the badge that allows to make visible and to put in value the herds that fight against the fires, through the commercialization of their products; local meats and dairy products, of the highest quality and which help to preserve our forests. A growing network of butchers of the Guild of Artisan Butchers of the Girona region and restaurants offer the products of Ramats de Foc. A value chain closed by consumers, as eating the products and gastronomy of Ramats de Foc, is the flame to keep alive the extensive livestock in the Mediterranean forests, with the beneficial services that this brings to society.
